Mango & Soulfly

I've decided to do some random promoting. This band consists of Gabby Mikorenda and my good old friend Scott Warner. These tracks are brilliant. My personal favorts are Iron Bird and Follow Me, Echo. I really dig the tunes these two have put out and feel the need to share. Plus they went to the trouble of making this here awesome widget BUT MOSTLY because the music is really good. Listen and Enjoy!

If you haven't seen this...

Well I have two things really. First off GO SEE ZOMBIELAND!!! Fuckin amazing. In a year of mostly shitty movies this one kept me hooked. Seriously haven't been that entertained in a while. There are so many things I want to say but I'm not gunna spoil it, just fucking go.

AND Second...I found this picture of Mel Gibson, figured I would share

This is for a flick that's currently filming called "The Beaver." The concept is that a guy walks around with a beaver puppet and pretends its his friend...the concept is that Mel Gibson is doing weird shit as per usual.

That's all.

One Week Down!

So I'm all ready done with my first week of classes (unlike some lucky bastards who haven't even started yet) and i have to say I'm diggin it. It's nice to be in an environment that is actually geared towards what you wanna do with people who give a shit about the same things you do. Unfortunately I do have a few work heavy classes. My Film and Litt class is gunna be insane as far as work and writing go but I'll get through. Otherwise everything else is cool. I gotta get on a few film crews soon and start making movies!!! So far so good, i think I might stick with this whole college thing a bit longer. just a matter of finding the right fit. Till next time, enjoy this time.

P.S. Yes more San Diego wrap will come.

San Diego Wrap Up Part 2: SAN DIEGO ZOO!!!

Comic-Con took up the bulk of our trip BUT we also had other adventures. One of which was to the famous San Diego Zoo! Last year we also ventured there but we didn't stay for too long. This year we did even more. Steve, Dan and Morris sat this one out but the rest of us went and shenanigans went down

Me and Dave did the Robot.

Mike, Zach and Tara turned into Zombies

We got raped by a tortes...he was nice about it.

This picture may not show it, but we spent an absurd amount of time looking at this dude.

Watched this dude take a piss

Got my ass kicked...

And had to pay the price

Dave made a friend...

And than took it out on me

We saw some dick dicks...

and some dicks

We found this critter just hangin around

Legs were lost...

Some hands too...

Cacti were documented

But fun was had by all!!!

AND THAT WAS THE ZOO!!!

Stay tuned for more, as I, Tom Capps take incredibly long to talk about a trip that happened almost 2 months ago!

FUCK ONEONTA / Up State New York

So my little sister is going to college. SUNY Oneonta. Today I got the joy of driving 4 hours up to bumble fuck to help her move into her tiny dorm room where her roommate can't talk and her neighbor has the most ridiculous mullet ever. On top of being surrounded by the typical college douche crowed all day, there is just nothing to fucking do up here. It's literally tree, tree, tree, stump where a tree used to be and another fucking tree. Why anyone would live up here is beyond me.

Nobody can drive up here either, they have traffic cops and really strict smoking policies. But of course, there is a Wallmart.

Nothing like taking a completely packed car at 4am to a place you can get lost trying to find the nearest shitter to make you appreciate the fact that you live in a town filled with wigger douche bags and terrible weather.

There is a Denny's here but all that did was make me miss San Diego even more.

If i never come up here ever again, it would be too soon.

San Diego Wrap Up Part 1: COMIC-CON!!!!!

We of course went to Comic-Con! And this year was even crazier than last. We went to a ton of panels met some cool people and bought some sweet shit.

In no particular order...

We saw The Mighty Boosh

Watched Neil Gaimen be annoyed by some weird dude that thought he was a robot

Sat around.

Saw Costumed people

Met random celebrities (Kel Mitchel aka Grape Nose Boy)

Tara was professional

We played with Lego's...

Than got into an epic battle (Mike Won)

Sat around some more

Met up with DeKay

R2D2 even showed up!

Zach saw some lady wearing a Princess Leia slave costume...who really shouldn't have

We hit up some other sweet panels like

John K

Cartoon Network (aka Flapjack/Adventure Time)

(They had an awesome beach party too, but that will be covered later)

And My Personal Favorite...Kevin Smith

We also hit up a few other panels, that I either don't have photos of or missed when I was collecting photos, such as Coraline, Sponge bob and Time Jumper. Being Comic-Con I missed a bunch of panels because there were other things happening or the line capped but all and all I'm content with what I saw.

On top of events and panels the comic-con exclusives this year were pretty crazy, the biggest crowed draw were the 5 exclusive Green Lantern figures. They released 1 a day and were only 1500 of each figure (except green which was 3000.) I was able to get all 5 but shit got rowdy. Crazy Costumed people doing crazy costumed things for toys that starving Ethiopian kids made for a nickle. But I got em all, and I didn't even have to blow one dude dressed up like Hal Jordan to do so.

We even saw a dude swallow a sword! WOW!

video

We laughed, we cried, we got very little sleep...AND IT WAS AWESOME. So awesome in fact that I'm definitely forgetting more than allot.

That much awesome...and that was only Comic-Con! A lot more still to come so stay tuned!

I leave you now with a video of Steve with Pichachu. Pay very close attention to the right side of the screen, Steve isn't supposed to be in this picture.

There is a ton more video that I'm currently editing together so sit tight.
